The recording of anti-religious and racist acts for the period 2020-2023 (242 in 2023 for anti-Muslim acts). The government reporting website www.internet-signalement.gouv.fr , launched on January 6, 2009, relies on the PHAROS platform (Harmonization, Analysis, Cross-Referencing, and Referral of Reports) managed by the Anti-Cybercrime Office (OFAC). This platform centralizes reports of illegal online content submitted to the Ministry of the Interior into a single point. The reports are then cross-referenced and analyzed by investigators from the platform, who ensure their referral and, if necessary, initiate judicial proceedings before forwarding them to the relevant territorial authorities for further action.
